The two of us first met on a camping trip in July 2015. After bonding over several days of hikes and card games, we exchanged information and reconnected at school a month later. Many lunches and dinners together on campus eventually lead to our first date at the Museum of Man in Balboa Park. It was our first adventure together, and was the start of many meaningful experiences. The past several years have seen us all around the world: adventurous day trips to Harry Potter World in LA; exploring the lively town of Cork in southern Ireland; and an epic camping trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Now, our post-grad plans are calling us to London, where Rachel will be attending the Royal Veterinary College in the fall. We both agreed we wanted to enter into this next chapter of our lives as an official team, and Alec proposed on a hike near USD campus on June 15, 2019. This next stage of our lives begins with a small and meaningful ceremony this summer, with only the most important friends and family present.
