This was the night we met! We met right before we both walked on stage to give announcements together at our young adult ministry!

The next week, we went on our first date! It started as a coffee, which led to lunch, and later that evening we went to a hockey game with friends. We didn't want the day to end!!

A lot has happened in a year! Alec bought his first home, and we can't wait to start our lives here in Ankeny after we're married!

We've celebrated a couple weddings together this year, and we can't wait to celebrate ours with you!

The weekend before he proposed, and I had zero idea...clearly!

On December 19, Alec took me out for a birthday dinner, and planned to have drinks with my family at home after. Little did I know "drinks" was key word for a surprise proposal and engagement party!

My family and I have shared a lot of memories on this front porch, and this is one of them I'll cherish forever!

We celebrated our engagement with family and friends, and it was so much fun!

We were blessed with a 70-degree day in February, so we frolicked around Downtown Des Moines for engagement pictures!

We're excited that this is only the beginning of our story, and we can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you on June 13!
