Ashland, Oregon is walkable town with shoppes and eateries, quite enjoyable for an afternoon. It is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as well as Litha Park, which has some beautiful hiking trails. Fun fact: The name Lithia comes from natural mineral water found in the Ashland area. It has a strong mineral taste and slight effervescence, and the lithia water fountains found on the town plaza that you can drink from!
Mount Shasta

Mt Shasta is about 1h45m away from Ashland, but is one of the reasons why Alicia fell in love with Redding, CA. There is some great history as well as legends surrounding the area if you are interested!
