The Wedding Website of Ale Zubiria Perez and Seth Hiers
The ceremony and reception will be held at Rancho Juantepec just outside Valle de Bravo. This garden and venue has been family owned for three generations, and our host takes a lot of pride in his inheritance. Valle de Bravo is located about 2hrs from Mexico City. Valle, as the locals call it, is a small town mostly used during weekends by folks trying to escape the city. There is a huge lake and a very quaint and safe town that would be perfect if you're looking to spend a couple relaxing days and eat some good food. Mexico City is beautiful city, with so much to see and eat. We encourage you to consider spending a few days before/after the wedding exploring the city too. The museums, cathedrals, pyramids, and foods are amazing. If you do nothing else in this trip, enjoy the food! Mexicans know how to cook the same ten ingredients in thousands of delicious ways, and take a lot of pride in their cuisine! We can't wait to celebrate with you all in Mexico!

Getting to Valle de Bravo

****** If you are still looking for transportation to/from Mexico City and Valle de Bravo and need help please reach out!! We have recommended https://www.trosten.com/ (we have worked with them in the past) for larger groups, but they seem to also offer smaller vehicles. You can also contact Valentin at +52 1 722 392 1381 on Whatsapp (he runs a cab company in town and is helping us with taxis the evening of the event). His company also offers rides to/from the airport quoted at ~160 USD for 4ppl. We have created a google sheet to facilitate shuttle logistics! Use it to find other guests travelling around the same time and looking to share a shuttle. We are happy to coordinate shuttle bookings once you have a group/details sorted out. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14HWAGGmBffm7D9r3g7zcrv9YbZ0Q3MzVXttlnW6EKqk/edit?usp=sharing ****** Mexico City airport will be your best option if flying in. Moving within the city is easiest with Uber or cabs, which are plentiful near the airport and throughout the city. Getting to Valle is easy if you have a car. However, we would encourage folks to only consider renting a car if they need the freedom to move around and are very comfortable with city driving. Rules on the road in the city are optional and drivers can be quite aggressive, so we suggest avoiding driving if you can. To facilitate moving to Valle de Bravo, we have contact information for shuttle services that can move folks to/from Mexico City and also potentially offer transportation while in Valle. Quotes we got were $50-75 USD pp depending on the number of people travelling together. If you would like to explore this option, it would be easiest to get a few people involved (the bigger the group the cheaper this will be!) and contact us for help with bookings.

Travel Note

Day-of Travel to/from Rancho Juantepec

Taxis should be easy to find in Valle de Bravo and Avandaro if you need help getting to the venue. You can also contact Valentin at +52 1 722 392 1381 on Whatsapp (he runs a cab company in town and is helping us with taxis in the evening) to get help with a cab to the venue. We will have taxis available between 7pm-2am to take folks back to Valle de Bravo or Avandaro. Taxis are fully paid for.

Travel Note

Lodging in Valle de Bravo

We suggest staying near the center square in Valle de Bravo, as it is extremely easy to explore on foot and will make moving to/from the venue much easier. We have added a few hotel suggestions here, though there are many cheap hotel and AirBnB options near the city center that may be a better fit for you. Avandaro, just to the south of Valle de Bravo, is also a great place to visit or stay during this event. Both Avandaro and Valle de Bravo tend to cater to larger groups. If you know a few other guests who you think you may like to share a house with for a few days, it may be worth reaching out to them about sharing a larger AirBnB together.
