Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay

7455 Kalanianaole Hwy, Honolulu, HI 96825

This is an awesome protected nature preserve to go snorkeling. It is a protected area with limited availability and has an entrance fee but is well worth a great couple of hours snorkeling. Highly recommend, especially if coming with children.

Diamond Head Crater Hike

Diamond Head Crater Hike

Kapahulu, Honolulu, HI 96815
, (808) 587-0300

A great relatively easy hike only 10 minutes away from Waikiki Beach with a great view!

Koko Crater

Koko Crater

7604 Koko Head Park Rd #7602, Honolulu, HI 96825

An awesome but pretty tough hike that is ~1.5 miles of vertical ascent (it feels like a stairway to heaven!) but a view to die for! Recommend if Diamond head looks too easy for you and you're looking to break a heavy sweat and want to be rewarded with some incredible views of the island. Ale's favorite hike!

Marugame Udon

Marugame Udon

2310 Kūhiō Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815
, (808) 931-6000

Absolutely awesome udon and Japanese food for the price! One of our favorite places on the island and you'll probably find us in line for sometime during wedding week! Line is very long but moves quickly and so worth it.

Helena's Hawaiian Food

Authentic Hawaiian food that is highly recommended by the locals. We haven't had a chance to eat here yet but it's on the list!

Leonard's Bakery

Leonard's Bakery

933 Kapahulu Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816
, (808) 737-5591

World famous bakery known for their malasadas (Hawaiian version of doughnuts with cream filling). Just as delicious as advertised.

Kamehameha Bakery

Kamehameha Bakery

The other malasada place that is highly-recommended by locals!
