Do I need to exchange Money and take Pesos?

We do recommend having Pesos, Zacatecas City has a lot of locations that accept US Debit/Credit cards, however Jerez is primarily cash only.

Where should I exchange US Dollars to Mexican Pesos?

Answer

We recommend checking with your bank first to coduct an exchange! Otherwise, Currency exchange locations can be found in the mall and the airport. We recommend exchanging your money, before going to Mexico!
