McMenamins Edgefield

Latourell Falls Trailhead

Take a hike to see some waterfalls near the hotel! There are over 90 waterfalls on the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge alone! Note: take tennis shoes with traction or hiking shoes.

Portland Japanese Garden

$15 tickets but this is one of the best Japanese Gardens in the country. This garden is right next to the International Rose Test Garden.

Alberta Arts District Shopping and Bars

Shopping, bars, restaurants, lots of Murals for Photo Opps! This also has Great Notion Brewing, which is one of Zach's favorite breweries in Portland.

Alphabet District in Northwest Portland

This is a great shopping district which also has bars, restaurants, pretty Victorian houses in the neighborhood and it has my favorite tea house called Tea Chai Té on 734 NW 23rd Ave. (2nd floor of building).

International Rose Test Garden

Free to go here! The Rose Garden is the crown jewel of Portland and gives us our namesake: City of Roses. May and June are the prime times to see roses blossoming in full blast! This is right next to the Japanese Garden.

PDX Sliders Division

SE Division is our newest favorite place to go explore, shop, and get drinks--It's close to our apartment too! PDX Sliders is the best place for burgers in Portland in our opinion! The Fremont burger has roasted jalapeños, bacon, aioli, cheese... so juicy. Omg. Vegetarian burgers and options too such as incredible Truffle Fries!
