Please RSVP by January 31st 2024. If something comes up after this date, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.
We want to celebrate our marriage with as many of you as possible. With our families and friends being spread across continents, the cost of trying to do this on a single day was too much. We hope you all understand. To that end, we are having an intimate ceremony and reception with immediate family in Santa Monica. Later that evening, we're having an after party for our friends in the local area to celebrate our union. For the folks in Europe, you're going to get your own special event in London where the guests of honor fly out to entertain and hydrate you!
Yes! We've hired out a private residence with a beautiful courtyard to host our ceremony and champagne reception.
For guests coming to the ceremony, please arrive at 4:30pm. We'll enjoy some drinks and nibbles before starting the ceremony
We will have a professional photographer and videographer capturing our ceremony and champagne reception, so please keep use of your phones to a minimum. The odd selfie is fine but please be cognizant that you are being recorded. We appreciate the effort that goes into attending a wedding - travel, hair, makeup, your outfit. The photographer will be capturing shots of everyone in attendance at the ceremony. Rest assured, you'll have professional quality photographs of you looking fabulous.
This is the death to our single lives. We're going for an old Hollywood, cinematic feel. We request all guests coming to the ceremony wear all black. Some gold trim is acceptable. Please no white or color (shirts, socks, jackets etc). The venue requests no stilettos. We will provide stilettos covers if you forget. Weather permitting, the ceremony and champagne reception will be outside. It will be an April evening in Santa Monica, so cater for this with your attire.
We've tried to cater for partners, significant others, wives and husbands with our invitations. If we've missed anyone please let us know and we'll see what we can do. We have limited numbers for the ceremony but for O'Briens and Westow House, there is a certain amount of flexibility.
For O'Briens, given the time of the event children are unable to be at the venue. For Westow House, children are welcome. We have catered for this in our invitations, so if you'd like to bring your children please RSVP accordingly.
For the ceremony and champagne reception, there is free street parking available. For O'Briens, there is paid street parking in the area. We recommend using ride share (Uber, Lyft). For Westow House, there is limited street parking available in the area. There are good public transport links (trains, bus, tube) to the Crystal Palace area. Ride share (Uber, Bolt) are good options as well.
Of course, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary requirements when you RSVP
For the ceremony, confetti is allowed provided it is biodegradable (non-plastic) For O'Briens & Westow House, we ask that you refrain from bringing confetti as this is against venue guidelines
We're not having a registry or requesting gifts. Your presence is enough of a gift to us. In lieu of gifts if you wish to make a donation to our honeymoon fund you can do that on the Registry page of this website
