From I-45 S, entering Galveston, exit 61st Street. At light, turn right. Drive to the end of Seawall, turn right. Drive approximately 16.2 miles. Drive until you see "Beach Access #36." Turn left. You will be entering the beach. Drive forward past the blue buckets (they are trash receptacles). Turn right until you see a red Dodge Pickup parked next to some wooden poles. **There are NO public restroom facilities on the beach!** Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early, as after the ceremony starts, guests will not be allowed to enter.
