After spending four years at the same university, Sam & Alejandra's paths never crossed. Sam played on the basketball team and Alejandra played on the volleyball team. They knew of each other. Sam worked at some volleyball games and said Alejandra's name many times as he announced the lineup. Little did he know he was saying the name of his future wife and little did Alejandra know that her future husband was saying her name. During the basketball season, Alejandra was working the food stand burning all the popcorn as her future husband was playing basketball inside of the gym. It seemed as though we kept missing each other. God knew we probably weren't ready to meet quite yet. That brings us 4 years later to the end of November of 2021. Sam sent Alejandra a message that said "Alejandra!!!!!!!!" Alejandra was not quite sure what to think. A guy that she recognized from North Central, but never spoke to is now trying to connect. After some debate, Alejandra replied. They then had their first date on December 9th at The Graze in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Since then, Alejandra and Sam have been pretty much attached from the hip. Their love grew as they came to realize how opposite they are from each other. In their differences, they found unity and love. And now, they get to start their beautiful life together joined by the people they love most- you. ♡
