Bear Coast Coffee
This place is walkable to the pier. Get your coffee and a pastry and walk with it down the pier. Watch surfers and take family photos!
Sur Coffee SC
One of Aldo and Julia's favorite San Clemente coffee shops. Grab a coffee togo, and walk down Avenida Del Mar to look at all the cute shops! Julia orders an iced vanilla latte with whole milk.
Pizza Port San Clemente
Local pizza spot known for it's craft brews! Julia likes their California Honey Blonde Ale. While Aldo likes their Swami's IPA.
Los Molinos Beer Co
Cute indoor/outdoor brewery. The beer at our wedding is sourced local from here! We like the Mosaic beer and the Ollie Pale Ale.
Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar San Clemente
This restaurant is located on the pier! Eat inside or outside. Both have incredible views. A great choice for brunch and lunch! Julia gets their Fish and Chips, while Aldo likes their Clam Chowder. If they are busy, put your name in, walk the pier, and by the time your'e back, they'll be ready with your table.
Antoine's Cafe
Aldo and I went here post sunrise surf session. It is the cutest little diner for a classic diner breakfast and coffee.
The Bagel Shack
This place has the best bagel sandwiches and iced chai lattes. Aldo and Julia went here a lot when they first started dating. Julia likes their Churches Bagel Sandwich. And Aldo gets their Old Man's bagel sandwich and they split a chai latte. The bagels are named after local surf spots and beaches.
Strand Beach Walk
Park here and walk down the stairs and through the neighborhood to the beach! This is a great walk that with insane cliff views of the ocean, beach, and beautiful beach houses. The stairs definitely will give you that morning leg workout that you need after your flight. When Julia moved here, she used to skate in the parking lot and park her car to watch the sunset in her trunk.
doheny state beach
Easy Beach to learn how to surf! Surf board rentals, snack shack, and bike rentals. Great place to spend the day at the beach with your family. There are signs to scan to pay for parking. usually about $5 an hour.
