For folks that don't want to deal with driving, we have reserved a school bus to pick up people from The Driskill (604 Brazos St) to go to the venue in Kyle. The bus will have 2 runs back to the Austin location, one around 9pm and another when the wedding is over (11pm).

The Driskill - In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Mark and I will be staying here for the wedding. The Driskill, a Romanesque-style building completed in 1886, is the oldest operating hotel in Austin, Texas, and one of the best-known hotels in Texas generally. Also known for being the most haunted ;) It is located in the downtown area and very close to 6th street. We do not have a room block here, but you are welcome to make reservations on your own. There is a room block available at the Aloft hotel right next door at a much more affordable price. The after party will be taking place downstairs at the Driskill bar, which is open till 2am. The shuttle will be dropping off people in this area. Please join us for a night cap to end the evening.

Aloft Austin Downtown

The Aloft is located right next to the Driskill (where we will be staying) and right in the center of Downtown Austin. It is right off of Congress Ave, and a block from "Dirty" 6th street. This Hotel is near The Texas Capitol and UT Austin's Main Drag Guadalupe St. We have a reserved block here that range from one king rooms to 2 queen rooms for $175 - $185 per night. Please book through our link, or if you call please say you are with the Alcorta - Cunningham wedding.

This Hotel is a few blocks away from the Red River Cultural District, which is a live music hot spot, as well as "Dirty" 6th Street. Flight

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

The Austin Airport is our nearest airport. It is located about 15 min from Downtown Austin. If you are interested you can rent a car directly from the airport. You can also catch Ubers and Lyfts to and from the Airport. If you are very into public transportation you can take the number 20 bus into downtown Austin near the hotels we have on block. You can download an app called CAPMETRO and it should cost $1.50 per ride, or just have the amount in cash.

Driving

For folks that will be driving, there's plenty of (free) parking at the venue - just follow signs for Redbud parking. (See the map in the FAQ)

Ride Sharing

For folks that want to ride share, note that while it may be easy to get to the venue from Austin, it might be tricky to get a rideshare from the venue at the end of the night. However, for folks that are thinking of getting a rideshare to the wedding, you can always jump on the bus for the trip back to Austin if that works - just let us know in the RSVP.
