Question

Where do I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Mexico City (airport code: MEX), which is a 2 hour-car ride from the wedding venue. Some people will arrive earlier in the week to explore Mexico City.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

In an effort to be green (and efficient) we are only doing online RVSPs. On the RSVP tab let us know your plans - whether you can or not attend our wedding events. Please submit your RSVP by October 15, 2019.

Question

When should I arrive to Tequesquitengo?

Answer

Official events will begin on Saturday, November 16th and therefore we recommend you book lodging from Saturday Nov 16th to Monday Nov 18th.

Question

What about transportation from the wedding venue to other hotels?

Answer

We have organized for Hacienda Vista Hermosa to have trusted taxis available during the day and especially during the night of Sunday. You can use these to go back to Excelaris or Villa Bejar.

Question

What is the weather like at that time of the year?

Answer

Average temperatures are 87F (27C)/ 61F (19C). During the day, it will be hot but not humid and at night it will freshen up a bit.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday Nov 17?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and feel beautiful! Women: Cocktail attire; short or long, flowy dresses are appropriate. Everything will be outdoors and the ceremony and cocktails will happen on grass. Men: Guayabera recommended (type that in Google); light/linen suits welcome as well. Remember, it will be hot during the day. For inspiration, check out this board: https://pin.it/ikvlc7fqfi7ar4

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We intend to party; hence, our wedding is an adult only affair. If you can't leave your little ones with grandma, grandpa or anyone else you trust, don't think you're excluded, we still want to celebrate with you! There are independent baby sitting services at Hotel Hacienda Vista Hermosa . When you book your stay, please indicate that to the reception and the hotel will work with you directly.

Question

What about makeup and hair services for Sunday, November 17?

Answer

Tequesquitengo is not a big town, so you won't find salons anywhere near. Based on demand, make up and hair stylists will be onsite at Hotel Hacienda Vista Hermosa on Sunday, November 17th. This is based on a first-come, first-serve basis and you will need to make a small deposit to secure your time slot. If you are interested in makeup and/or hair appointments please send an email to alci.lichi@gmail.com. We can share available hair / make up packages for your selection.

Question

Any safety tips?

Answer

Exercise caution as you would in any other city. Avoid taking cabs from the street or unknown sites and be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. Uber is the safest bet in Mexico City.

Question

Any health tips?

Answer

Do not drink tap water and you should be fine!

For all the days along the way
