In May 2024, our story began with a simple message on Facebook Dating. After recently moving from New York to Delaware, I (Casey) was settling into a new chapter of life when our paths crossed online. Ace noticed me wearing a KC Chiefs t-shirt in my profile picture which immediately caught his attention as a huge SF 49ers fan. He questioned it but continued the conversation anyway. (KC had just beat SF in the Super Bowl earlier that year so he was a little salty.) My bio mentioned my love for seeing live music and Ace asked if I have ever heard of a band called 'The Amish Outlaws' because they were playing at the beach that Memorial Weekend. I was surprised he named that band because I loved seeing them in New York and thought it was wild that he mentioned them playing in Delaware. (Little did I know, they are from this area) He casually said he was going to see them if I'd like to join him. So, I got into a strangers car, in a new state, and the rest is history! We had the best time having dinner at The Lighthouse Dewey followed by the concert on the beach and decided to go on a 2nd date the following weekend to see 'Back to Black' (Amy Winehouse bio) followed by another sunset dinner and band at the beach. We went on dates every single weekend and then started having mid-week dinners. Before we knew it, we were inseparable. Ace started traveling to New York with me and my friends quickly knew he was the one! Like Danny and Sandy, our Summer Lovin' happened so fast. Within a few months, we moved in together. We continued to spend our weekends either traveling to New York or heading to the beach area where we fell in love. Ace has shown me each nook and cranny of Delaware so that I knew every area of my new state. (it's the 2nd smallest state so didn't take long to see it all.) I am not sure how or why I ended up moving to DE two years ago as I had never even been here, but the universe knew Ace and I belonged together. We are soulmates. Between all the laughs, tears, adventures, music and making tons of memories together already, falling in love happened naturally and now we cannot wait to celebrate our forever together! We are excited to celebrate our next chapter of our love story with all of you on May 14, 2027!
