Anthony and Lindsey's love story began like any other modern love story - on the dating app, Hinge. Lindsey "liked" one of Anthony's photos and the conversation flowed from there. In true Anthony and Lindsey fashion, they were both busy with travel at the time and it took them six weeks to meet in person. The two continued to message back and forth during those six weeks, thinking the conversation would fade off, but it didn't. Finally, on June 28, 2023, the two went on their first date. Once they were both in town, the initial idea of their outdoor date was quickly extinguished as Canadian wildfire smoke engulfed the city. Instead, they settled for a classic sushi date at Slippery Mermaid to avoid the poor air quality. The two sat at the bar and talked for hours, only to realize how much time had past when the staff started stacking chairs on the tables around them. Lindsey's family has lovingly referred to Anthony as "Sushi Boy" ever since. From there, many great dates followed as they began to develop a bond, creating a new level of happiness leaving them both pleasantly surprised. The last nearly 3 years have been the best of their lives - filled with travel both near and far, dinner dates to cross new restaurants off their ever growing list, blending of family and friends and more belly laughs than the two can count. Anthony and Lindsey have naturally grown as individuals, however, as a couple they have far surpassed how much they thought they could grow as a team and couldn't be happier to become husband and wife! They are grateful to be surrounded by amazing family and friends on their special day and can't wait to see you in Pittsburgh in August!
