Have you ever heard the saying "opposites attract?" For 18 years I have been blessed to have an everyday best friend who holds the key to all my secrets, laughs at my mere stupidity, and bears a genuine heart of love and compassion. When Lauren was little, she couldn't say my name correctly so she always called me "eeuh" and ever since then, we've always protected each other. Up until I moved off to college, she and I slept in the same bed together despite having separate rooms, aka (adult sleepovers.) Now that we’re both grown, I’m lucky to have my best friend also be my sister. Although I won’t miss her walking in the bathroom while I’m taking a shower to use the toilet, I will miss living under the same roof and laughing so hard that we become silent. She’s my keeper and I am hers.
