Nepenthe is an extra special place for this couple, where Sam bought Jessica her first ring. Oh, and he was also called "Mr. McKillip." The drive down Hwy 1 includes breathtaking views and beautiful State Parks. The Phoenix Shoppe at Nepenthe has some cool keepsakes. Even if you don't get this far south, the drive along the coast is an experience all in itself.

Not only is this one of Kaze's favorite places to visit, it is also the site of our sunset engagement. Sandy beach, nice for walks, tossing the ball, finding shells, sea glass.
