Alba and Troy had met regularly on Tuesday during Troy's lunch time. On April 23rd it was a nice and sunny day. Troy had suggested to Alba that since the weather was nice they should go down by the river front and have lunch there. Alba thought this was a normal Tuesday outing and was unaware that this was part of the set up. Troy with the ring hidden on himself. After finishing lunch they went for a small walk up the river front. During this they practiced Troy's Spanish as was normal. Troy asked a simple question "So if I wanted to say 'my girl is from El Salvador' to someone else how would I do that?" Alba thought for a second and said "Mi chica es de el salvador". Troy immediately told her "no that's not the correct translation". Alba being the Spanish speaker was a bit confused. It had to be correct. Troy then said "It's 'mi esposa' " meaning 'my wife'. As he was saying this he presented the ring box and started dropping onto one knee.
