The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a cocktail dress, pant suit or pants and a nice blouse. Gentlemen should wear pants, and a nice shirt and or a suit and tie. It is Steamboat, so dress comfortable with a little fun flair.
Our weather can vary. We have had snow on the first day of summer. We suggest to keep an eye on the weather as you head out to Steamboat.
Our ceremony will be outside at the resort. Wear comfortable shoes to walk a little. Our reception will be primarily inside with options to be outside.

If you have a pass for the resort you can upload the gondola at any time. We suggest uploading early and getting a drink at the Reds Bar in the Champaign Room. If you do not have a pass for the resort you can upload the gondola 30 minutes before the ceremony .

The Thunderhead Lodge sits at 9,080 ft. Please be aware that elevation sickness is real. What Causes Altitude Sickness? The pressure of the air that surrounds you is called barometric or atmospheric pressure. When you go to higher altitudes, this pressure drops and there is less oxygen available. There are ways to manage your elevation sickness. #1 Drink LOTS of water before and during your time in Steamboat #2 Add Electrolytes to your calorie intake. #3 Eat lots of food. Keep yourself full.
