Living in different states at the time, we met online through OkCupid. Alberto messaged me saying "tell me why I should take you out". After such a unique greeting, I promptly responded, "tell me why I should let you". It has been a crazy, exhausting, fun-filled ride ever since. 

Alberto asked me to marry him among friends and family during a birthday celebration for his sister and nephew. He came over to me with a flower in his hand, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.
