Montrose Regional Airport and Telluride Airport, which are about an hour and a half away from The Wyman Hotel, which is where we will be caravanning from for the ceremony. Reception will also take place at The Wyman. Also please keep in mind that we are going to be in a mountainous area. If you're renting a car, or bringing one, be sure to bring a car with four wheel drive that can handle the windy, mountain roads.
The beauty of an elopement lies in the flexibility of your day. And being in Colorado, we can really use the scenery as our venue! Our wonderful coordinator, Elsa, will take us all to a gorgeous spot in the mountains (minimal hiking required) to say 'I do'. After the ceremony, we'll head back to The Wyman for dinner, drinks, and dancing :)
We've decided to skip the registry, as we have more than enough belongings. If you’d like to gift us, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund, which will help us go on a dream overseas trip!
Ceremony dress code: Casual cute with some color. Since we'll be in the mountains for the ceremony, I'd love for everyone to wear a pop of color (peach, sage green, blush, etc.). Please try not to wear black–we want the day to feel warm and happy! Since we will be outside, I wouldn't advise wearing stilettos or any sort of shoe that makes walking feel like a challenge. Temperatures in Colorado tend to drop in September, so be sure to bring a jacket with you as well :) Reception dress code: Whatever you like to party in.
You can! We just ask that you don't interrupt the photographer. My best friend will be our photographer and videographer, and she is fantastic, so don't worry about missing a moment–she will capture it all. After the ceremony, feel free to take photos and videos at The Wyman!
Our coordinator, Elsa will be on site and will have a couple of assistants with her as well. She will be handling all the logistics and timelines, so please ask her if you have any questions. As Bride and Groom, we want to feel present and relaxed, so we won't have our phones on us most of the day.
