We are so happy to be getting married in Mexico! It is a beautiful country with a rich history and incredible food and people. We would not get married in an unsafe place, and put anyone in danger. Mexico City, like any big city in the world, has its safer spots and spots that should be avoided. With a little awareness and common sense, following a few guidelines, we're confident you'll have a great time and feel comfortable every step of the way. A few things to keep in mind: 1. Don't travel by yourself. This includes Ubers. Bring a buddy! 2. Let someone know where you'll be if you and your buddy separate from the group. 3. Don't leave phones, bags or other items unattended. 4. Keep purses close to you and keep your outward-facing pockets free from wallets and phones. There will be a LOT of foot traffic on our wedding days - it's a big celebration in Mexico! This is great because there will be many tourists and security. It's the best weekend to be a tourist in the city! But also, the pickpockets know - so just be aware. We're thrilled to have you join us! Any questions? Let us know. -ElAl

The weather in Mexico will vary in November - it'll be chillier in the mornings and evenings (a sweater or light jacket should be fine), and it gets warmer in the daytime. The wedding is formal attire, which means long dresses for the women and suits or tuxedos for the men. For the days leading up to the wedding, please wear comfortable shoes, bring jeans and a top for the pilgrimage, and just be comfortable for walking. -ElAl
