Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at one location in Driftwood, Tx. 1770 N Elder Hill Road, Driftwood, TX 78619 Please follow the signs to "The Meadow Barn."

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is held at an outdoor venue covered by hundred-year-old oaks. There is cover in the event of rain.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

September in Austin averages a high of 90 degrees and a low of 70 degrees.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear button-downs and slacks. Leather jackets are encouraged!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party and the family will take pictures immediately after the ceremony. Guests may enjoy finger foods, grab a drink, and get to know each other.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a free gravel parking lot provided for all guests. We recommend carpooling if that's an option, as space is limited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! But only if they can hang.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2023. You may RSVP online or to Albert and Shae.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The venue is ADA capable.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Lazy G's Barbecue will provide dinner. Wine, beer, and champagne will be available for adult beverages. Bottled water and sweet tea will also be provided.
