Maid of Honor
Janeau and Revae have been two peas in a pod for as long as they can remember. First cousins, once removed (or however that goes), they spent many of their formative years together. From Little League teammates to road trip buddies, Janeau is always down to share any experience, even if we need to pack our own sandwiches. It's only fitting Janeau will be right by Revae's side for her biggest adventure yet!
Best Man
Mr. GQ! Native Texan now California transplant. Andrew and I met at Johnson & Wales University and were classmates and teammates. One of the most stylish men I know. Andrew is a good friend, a great ball player, and one savvy financial planner. I'm thrilled to have Andrew by my side for this special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Kara and Revae first met at Texas A&M in Carl Gabbard's Motor Development class. They were both kinesiology majors and members of a campus club called Sports for Kids. They hit it off immediately after a game of amoeba tag and spent countless hours in study sessions, Insanity workout attempts, and singing various renditions of "Oh, Tonight" duets. Revae is so excited to have Kara by her side on this special day.
Groomsman
Jefé! Jeff is my younger brother and master of mischief. We met in the early '90s. He had a flat top, I had a bowl cut, and were teammates, roommates, enemies, and friends. Though you don't choose your family, I couldn't ask for a better younger brother.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Revae met in the late summer of 2009 at ever-living, ever-loving, compound, complex, Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2013 Fish Camp. They were both assigned to the same color camp and DG (Funkhouser!). Quoting Spongebob strengthened their bond so much that they became roommates through the rest of their college years. Revae and Emily could always count on each other to let the other be their weirdest selves. Revae cannot wait to have Emily by her side for this momentous occasion.
Groomsman
Mr. Fix It! Randy is my big baby brother. We met in the mid 90's after my parents brought him home from the zoo. Randy has grown to become a devoted family man and an outstanding handyman who everyone leans on for help. I'm lucky to have my baby brother as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Revae met Laura through fellow bridesmaid Emily who lived in the same dorm building freshman year at Texas A&M. Emily invited Revae over to her and then-roommate Ana's dorm room for a movie night. Laura and Revae bonded over softball and Revae's interest in joining Sports for Kids (sound familiar?). They played many games of catch, joined some intramural softball teams together, and eventually became roommates junior and senior year. Revae is elated to have Laura by her side for this joyous day.
Groomsman
Gordo! Justin, or Dr. Tobar, to some, is one of my younger cousins. Justin grew up with my brothers and me and was treated like the youngest sibling. Though he fell prey to many of our pranks as a kid, Justin is one of the smartest and most disciplined people I know. I am extremely proud of the man he is today, and I'm blessed to have him in the lineup.
Bridesmaid
Revae and Severa met in KINE 121, a class for kinesiology majors at Texas A&M. They sat by each other on the first day of class and bonded over their unique names. Their professor would often confuse them, two short Hispanic girls with hard-to-remember names "Sevae? Revera?". They took many classes together and in studying for said classes, Severa quickly became part of the friend group that was Kara, Emily, Laura and a few others. Severa and Revae shared many things from workout dates at "The Rec" to walking side by side on graduation day. Revae is overjoyed to share another magical moment with Severa by her side.
Groomsman
Chulo! Larry is my partner in crime. A close family friend now family, we grew up playing football together and now terrorize golf courses, chase Hill Country trout, and run a muck on his parent's ranch in Poteet. Larry is a reliable friend and is always up for an adventure. I'm excited to have this wild man as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Revae and Leynah have known each other for as long as they can remember, but they didn't know the bond they would have until Leynah reached out to Revae about observation hours while she was at Crystal City High School. Leynah became Revae's extra set of eyes and ears always knowing what task needed to be done before Revae could even think about it. They continued to support each other while Leynah was at school and Revae was navigating post-COVID athletic training. Leynah was the first person Revae told about Steven. Revae is delighted to share another joyous night with Leynah by her side.
Groomsman
Joey and I met in the early 90s at St. Benedict's Catholic School. He is one of my first and oldest friends. I've been fortunate to have stayed in contact with Joey all these years and have even had the privilege of working with Joey at the San Antonio Museum of Art and standing in his wedding. We've come a long way since we met in Pre-K, and I'm blessed to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Revae was ecstatic when she learned that her newest little sibling would finally be a little sister. Watching Anabel grow up has been one of the biggest blessings in Revae's life. From watching Cars on repeat all the way to Florida, to kindergarten class parties, to days at the beach, Vacation Bible School and more, Revae and Anabel try to take every opportunity to spend time with each other. She is so excited to share in another special milestone with her little sister .
Groomsman
Little Roy! Roy came into our lives when I was in high school as a chubby kid who loved baseball and Disney. Roy has since blossomed into a handsome and respectable young man. I'm excited to have Little Roy round out the group as my junior groomsman.
