The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We recommend cocktail or sundresses for women and a tie and button-down for men. Women should keep in mind foot wear as it is an outdoor wedding. Acknowledging that everyone has different comfort and finance levels, we will not turn anyone away if you come in something other than the above recommendations.
The weather in Spring Glen, NY can vary in the middle of September, so please plan for anything. We recommend bringing an umbrella, light jacket, and wear layers just in case you need to add or take anything off due to the weather. As always, please check the weather closer to our big day to ensure you bring any necessary items to stay happy and healthy.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place on Emily’s Grandfather Victor Budd’s land at 8 Red Hill Road, Wurstboro, NY 12790.
Yes! The ceremony won’t begin until 2:00 p.m., but you are more than welcome to arrive early. “Doors open” at 1:15 p.m.
The ceremony will be held outside (not under tents) while the reception will take place under tents. You may want to pack a sunscreen if the weather is sunny/warm just in case.
The wedding party will be taking photos after the ceremony for about an hour. All guests can head straight to the reception area for cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres before the reception. We will be providing lawn games to help pass the time until the wedding party finishes photos.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

If you were not given a “plus one” on your invitation, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any additional guests. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Therefore, we will only able to accommodate a date if it was listed on your invitation.

Food and drinks will be served at our wedding reception. The food will be buffet style and BBQ cuisine. There will also be an open bar!
