Real love is something we both longed for and couldn’t find it until our paths crossed. My oldest daughter was having prom photos taken and I went to put my phone down, this stranger said so soft, I could take them for you if you don’t mind. I said ok . I had hired a photographer for that day but when he gave me my phone back he said, “some of the best pictures are the ones you’re not ready for.”My favorite pictures were the ones he took! Albert’s daughter and mine are friends and so he went through my daughter to get his dog cleaned at my dog grooming shop.. (yes he used his dog) to get my number. After I gave him my number the rest was history. He is known as the wedding crasher at my best friend’s wedding because he decided to come in casual attire. This was the first time we had spent time together. Afterwards we continued on our paths not knowing we were falling in love with one another….. Next thing you know we were starting to build a life together.. We seen each other’s potential and no matter what, or how scared we were internally, we kept striving towards a future together. We have an annual family and friends bbq and with over two hundred and fifty guest present somehow he had a plan! A secretive plan! He sent me to the store with my best friend and when I came back the back yard was transformed into such a beautiful space! There were yellow and white rose pedals laid in between a row of candles. As I walked up I thought him being him just wanted to have a dance on the stage he had set up, but I was wrong! Half way through the walk towards him I noticed a sign that said will you marry me? His words I’ll never forget … ITS NOT HOW YOU START BUT HOW YOU FINISH, WE DIDN’T START OFF THE RIGHT WAY BUT I APPRECIATE YOU BEING PATIENT WITH ME AND ALLOWING ME TO GET MY SH*T TOGETHER WITH I APPRECIATE YOU YOU TURNING ME INTO A FAITHFUL 100% FAITHFUL MAN AS YOU CAN SEE THE BACKYARD ALL THESE LITTLE PROJECTS SHE HAS ME DOING SET THEM UP AND DISAPPEAR BUT UHH I THINK ITS TIME FOR US TO SHOW THESE GIRLS WERE RAISING WHATS ITS LIKE TO BE LOVED BY A REAL MAN!!! WILL YOUUUUU MARRY ME??? I was shocked and couldn’t even formulate a thought and I heard someone in the crowd yell say hell yea.. And so that’s what I said! Hell yea!!! Funny thing is his mom, my mom, Miss Darlene aka Sunshine Suga love, told Albert when she first got to know me that they was keeping me! And she was right! Now our wedding is right around the corner!
