We are getting married!

The love story began at Ocean Casino Resort, where they both work. Veronica had the pleasure of helping Albert join Ocean, and initially, the interactions were limited to friendly waves and smiles as they passed each other or grabbed their morning coffee at Dish, Ocean's cafeteria. Everything changed on the night of November 6, 2021, when they met at Ocean's newest bar, "Nola's". For the first time they had a real conversation, breaking from routine greetings. Albert approached Veronica with a warm smile and said, "Hi! I'm surprised seeing you here". Veronica smiled back, trying to put her phone away so she could fully engage in the conversation. However, he noticed she was looking at her investing platforms-a topic that sparked an instant connection, as it's one of Albert's biggest passions. What started as a casual chat blossomed into hours of conversation. They instantly clicked and decided to continue their discussion over breakfast the next day. Unfortunately Veronica had to reschedule and their official first date was a “Paint and Sip” experience. They loved every moment together and simply couldn’t resist going on more and more dates! Their adventures took them to different states, and even on vacations to other countries. Their first stop was the beautiful Curacao. It was a fabulous tropical getaway. Next on the list was Nicaragua, Veronica’s home country. It was a special trip for her, as she got to show him the town where she grew up and introduce him to her loved ones. They engaged in all sort of exciting activities like volcano boarding, hiking, and relaxing on the stunning Little Corn Island. However, their most memorable and unforgettable trip was to France -Iceland. They kicked off their adventure in the south of France, where they enjoyed a few delightful days, despite Veronica catching COVID! They then flew to Paris, immersing themselves in all the touristy activities-visiting the Eiffel tower, exploring the Louvre Museum, wandering through the Catacombs. In a romantic gesture, Albert brought along a lock with a beautiful engraving, and they attached it to the Pont des Arts bridge, known as the Love Bridge, to lock in their love. Their Parisian adventure continued with a thrilling night bike ride through the city, where Veronica ran over a few Parisians with her bike! On their last day in Paris, they took a day trip to Versailles, and it was there that Albert popped the big question! Of course ,Veronica said yes, and they celebrated their engagement with a bottle of wine and an All American meal: Burgers from Five Guys!
