While both majoring in Meteorology at Penn State, Erin messaged Albert on Facebook asking if he was watching the Phillies game anywhere. He promptly responded with, "no sorry".

By chance, Albert and Erin attended a mutual friend's birthday party. We chatted for a little, but eventually went our separate ways. A few weeks later, Erin & Friends were making plans to buy Hozier tickets, when Albert posted a new song by Hozier to his Instagram story and Erin's masterminding began. March 24, 2023 Erin acquired Hozier tickets in Philly and posted about it to her Instagram story, hoping that a certain someone would slide into her DMs. Shortly after, she gets an Instagram alert that Albert messaged her. The conversation flowed and Erin received more than a “no sorry” when she started planning a trip to visit Albert in Baltimore.

Erin made her way to Baltimore for the weekend, where she met up with Albert & Friends. After spending the day together, Albert took Erin to One Star Country Club, Baltimore’s top spot for falling in love. And fall in love they did. The rest, as they say, is history.
