Sunrise Mountain Overlook

This is David's favorite sunset spot and ours too! Drive all the way up to the top for a low risk, high reward view or hike your way up to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

While you're in the area, visit the Delaware Water Gap! You can tube, kayak, and swim. Indian Head Canoes will shuttle you and rent kayaks to do so. Just don't forget your life vest!
Montclair Art Museum

For those of you staying closer to NYC than the Appalachian Trail, Montclair Art Museum is one of our favorites with ever changing art that never fails to captivate.
