Like most relationships nowadays, we met online our during our freshman year of high school. It was a random evening in February when we decided to "friend" each other on Snapchat and strike up a conversation. Even though we got to know each other through text, we hit it off immediately and soon became very close friends. Despite the slim chance of us having met each other, we had so much in common. A month after getting together, we finally met in person for the first time. Since we were only able to see each other once a month or so, we made every second count.

It all began when we decided to go on a trip to the Black Hills to take senior photos together. After visiting several scenic areas and having a delicious lunch together, Shawn suggested going to a gazebo that we drove by before lunch to take more photos together. After taking some photos together in the gazebo, he got down on one knee and proposed! Of course I said, "Yes!" and we ended the day by going to the Rushmore Mall and a local park before heading home. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
