Colette & Diego are a true love story. They first met each other in their High School hallway. Hamilton High is a rather large school so it is easy to see people and not know them. Although knowing the same people they had never actually spoke to one another. Colette was an active young lady and was just pronounced Homecoming Queen. Colette was a senior and Diego was a junior. Diego just so happened to be walking down the hallway one day late October 2003. He at this time saw Colette walking in front of him. This being the perfect opportunity to get her attention outside of the normal bell schedule he decided he was going to get this girl. He politely said "Hey Homecoming Queen" Colette turned around with a smile and said "Hey", Diego proceed "You forgot to call me last night", Colette laughed and said "I don't even have your number, but you can call me." Diego grabbed a piece of paper and wrote her number down. He was so excited that he got her number. After school he bragged about it all the way home on the bus to his friends. Shortly after the first call they begin dating and were inseparable. Their relationship took off rather fast. They were young both experiencing love they had never felt before. God allowed tragedy and obstacles to occur and caused the two love birds to take some time away from each other. During this time Colette went off to college. Uncertain of both their futures they attempted to move on through life tackling more obstacles, reaching milestones, making accomplishments, and learning lessons. The test of time!!! They had always remained cordial and supportive of each other throughout the years and God saw fit to reunite them. Once they were reunited it was Love all over again. Diego says he always knew that Colette was who God had for him, but life circumstances had caused him to have to endure patience and get to a place where he could be what she needed. The relationship is a true testament of what God has for you is for YOU!
