As much as we love your little ones, we will only be having children of our immediate families attending. Please reach out to us if you have questions.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
It's called the Sunshine Coast for a reason - there can be sun but also coastal winds and rain. Prepare for all types of weather on B.C.'s coast (except snow). Expect daytime temperatures in the low 20's and evenings to go down to 12 C. September can still very much be summery. Rain is part of the Sunshine Coast experience and breathtaking sunsets.

What should I wear?

Formal wedding attire. Coastal garden party theme.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors and our reception will be under a tent. The party will continue inside after 10 p.m. If it rains we will be inside the tent.

What shoes should I wear?
Answer
The wedding is taking place in a rustic beach setting. There are boardwalks, rocks, grass, docks and dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
We're going “unplugged”! We ask you to join us in being fully present by putting away all your electronic devices during our ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture the special moments. After the ceremony shoot away!

Will there be activites?
Answer
If you know Alanna and Markus, they are always busy exploring and have planned two adventures for the wedding. One requires good footwear and the other requires a bathing suit.
