Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are unable to host any additional guests that did not receive a formal invitation.

Will transportation and parking be provided?

Answer

Transportation and parking will not be provided. Valet parking is available on location for $15.00. There is a parking structure located on 32 W Carrillo St., behind the Canary.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held on the rooftop. Although August is one of our warmest months in Santa Barbara, please bring a light jacket or coat as it may get chilly.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place on the Kimpton Canary Hotel rooftop overlooking Santa Barbara’s stunning views.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the new Mr. & Mrs. will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the terrace where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media, we request that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag “#MarryingMartel2021” so we can keep track of all of your pictures, and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
