The couple was brought together by their shared passion for design. Alannah was in her 5th year at OH Partners when Marco started his career there in January of 2018. Over the first nine months of the year, the two developed a strong friendship and ultimately discovered they shared a mutual attraction and similar life goals and values. Throughout the next year, they were blessed to continue to work side-by-side and begin to build a life together outside of the office. Alannah and Marco deepened their bond by sharing experiences like traveling, weekly meal prepping, spending time with each other's families, attending church regularly and serving in the kids ministry.

Knowing that they both highly prioritize family, Marco planned a sweet and meaningful proposal that was perfectly tailored to the couple. Marco was able to keep the secret from his future bride for nearly eight months. He mentioned his intent to their coworkers in May 2019, and asked Alannah's family for their blessing over Thanksgiving of that same year. Marco orchestrated a plan—Alannah's dad would invite both families over for a barbecue at his house one Saturday in January. The weather was perfect that Saturday, both Alannah and Marcos' families arrived to play games and share food. But before the festivities started, Alannah's brother asked to take a photo in the same spot where they took one for Thanksgiving. And under that big tree in her dad's backyard around 4:00PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 Marco dropped to one knee and asked Alannah to marry him. It’s a beautiful and genuine memory shared by their closest loved ones. They are so excited to include you in their big day where they will vow their lives to one another under that same tree.
