We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met at work. We were both drawn to each other, but both had other partners at the time. Over the course of a few months, we started talking more. I don't think either of us ever expected to end up here together. But I am so thankful he came into my life when he did. We found each other just in time, and the rest is history.

This day started like any other typical "date day" for us. We had a concert we were attending that evening. Ty knows how much I love the ocean, and we had planned to make a day of that, then head to the arcade, followed by the concert. When we got to Hampton Beach on one of the hottest days this summer, there was nowhere to park for less than a 6 mile walk, or less than $50. I offered several times to skip the beach to avoid the headache, but he insisted we stay. After two laps around the strip, we came across a couple headed to their car. We followed them at about 2 mph, until we were able to snag their spot from them. After several minutes into our walk on the beach, he had already hugged me in the 90 degree weather at least three times (typically I'm the hugger). I remember saying "You're choking me" and "Stop! It's too hot!" A few minutes later as I was admiring the waves crashing, he said "The real reason I brought you here today is because I wanted to tell you how much I love you, and that I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I turned around to find him on his knee. I was completely surprised and not expecting it one bit. He couldn't have done any better!
