Maid of Honor

Courtney and I have been inseparable since Daisies. She's worn many hats in my life as my castmate, bandmate, choir friend, math tutor, roller-coaster buddy, and so many more. But her most important role, at least to me, is as my best friend. Courtney is always my first call (and always with no warning) when I have some news, need a friend, or just want to catch up. Her drive, patience, and wit make her uniquely positioned to take on any challenge, as demonstrated by her dual education in both law and psychology. This is why I wasn't surprised that when I told her I was getting married and asked her to be my maid of honor, Courtney has knocked it out of the park despite never being a maid of honor or even in a wedding before. I am continuously impressed by her knowledge and ability to help me navigate the endless decisions and events leading up to the big day, and I cannot wait for her to stand next to me as I marry the man of my dreams.

Emily Kolonia

Emily Kolonia is one of the funniest, most creative, and dependable friends you can come to know. She's always there for me, quite literally, which is not a simple feat as she is regularly flying back and forth from Statesville, NC to support and cheer on her family and friends as they reach life milestones or to join us for a shared meal for the holidays. Emily and I have grown up together, essentially as sisters. From Chuck E. Cheese and trips to Disney, to family dinners at Texas Roadhouse, to college and navigating a long-distance friendship, Emily is one person who has always been able to make me laugh and bring me out of my comfort zone. I can't believe that these two girls who used to dress up in my parent's basement and play Cool Boarders 3 on our PlayStation 1 are now preparing for my wedding. Emily is family, but I am also so proud to call her my friend.

DeAnna Marino

DeDe is my first cousin, and therefore probably my very first friend. Oh boy, have we had some fun over the years, from playing Nintendogs in the back of my mom's minivan, to antiquing at Rice's, all the way to me being a part of her wedding. She was even there when I bought my very first CD, Panic! at the Disco OF COURSE. Her kindness pervades over everything she does, and I cannot wait for you all to meet her.

Natalie Cook

Having also grown up together, and going on vacation each year for longer than anybody can remember, here are some things I can say about Natalie. Natalie cares with her whole heart, and is always willing to go the extra mile for a friend or a cause. She's also the single greatest lover of the beach and all things sunshine, a trait I find admirable as I watch her from the safety of air conditioning. Natalie is my beer buddy, and a confidant who helps me make informed life decisions when I find myself at a crossroads. I love her to death.

Jessica Goyette

Everybody has a mom friend, but my mom friend is, in fact, a mother. Jess is the mom of our two beautiful flower girls, Liliana and Kylie. We met during my four-year stint at Tolino Vineyards (where I also met Mike!), and at the time, Jess was always making sure I knew what I was doing and helping us rally the troops. 7 years later, and not much has changed. In addition to hosting our epic game nights with her husband Chris and our friend Kim, Jess was also my pandemic buddy. Living next door allowed us to go on regular walks and sit outside and hang out. Jess, thank you for being my sanity during that time, and for being my friend for all these years.

Kim Bray

Kim is not only an expert navigator of all things Bangor, PA past and present, she is just simply put, an expert. A forever bookwork and purveyor of all things fringe, she is the perfect trivia partner or escape room leader. Kim and I are always bonding over a shared love on internet culture, adult cartoons, or new restaurants or breweries to try. She's one of those friends that just gets me, who loves and accepts people as they are in the present. She calls it like it is, and on a related note, is the only one I let call me a drama queen. Kim is a great person and a great friend, and I'm so excited to have her as part of our special day.

Melissa Camelo

Melissa is Mike's sister, and a fellow middle child just like me. She came into my life shortly after Mike and I started dating, and I'm so glad to call her a friend. When I think of Melissa, the word "genuine" comes to mind. I mean this in the sense that Melissa is somebody who is always true to herself. Her generosity manifests itself in her career choice, in which she helps young students and families who are in need of some support. She is a lover of people and animals, and the best Dog Aunt to Bentley. Not only does she take care of him when we go away, but she makes sure we don't miss a minute with the many videos and pictures she sends each time. I'm eternally grateful to Melissa for welcoming me into the Camelo family with open arms, and am excited to get to know her more over the years.

Lori Camelo

Lori is Mike's youngest sister. A few years, back, Lori took a leap of faith and moved across the country to Colorado with her boyfriend Barret. Since then, it's been a joy to watch her explore the area and share her travels and culinary pursuits on social media. While she isn't always able to be nearby physically, Lori always makes an effort to be involved and engaged in our lives, and for this I am so thankful. Lori, like Melissa, is a friend to all animals, particularly her dog Shorty and our old man FlapJack (which is impressive, as FlapJack doesn't like most people LOL). I am excited to reconnect over the wedding weekend.
