Al's a native to LA and Sarah, at the time, recently moved from Boston. We're your modern couple - we first met virtually! Our first date was over dinner at the Alibi Room in West LA. Our date went so well that within 48 hours, Sarah said "yes" to a 3:30AM date at the LA Griffith Observatory (crazy right?). Together, we witnessed the occurrence of a super rare, supermoon lunar eclipse. Ever since then, we have been inseparable and have shared countless memories together. Turns out, the eclipse sparked another "once in a lifetime event" for us.
The proposal happened during the height of COVID, so unfortunately we could not throw an event with all of our loved ones present. Yet, it was a special moment between us and one we will never forget. After a long and treacherous uphill climb, Al proposed to Sarah at the top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. In biblical terms, Zion refers to the Kingdom of Heaven, the Holy place. It's a name that represents immense beauty. Naturally, it was the most meaningful place for Al to declare his love to his "angel" Sarah.
