Luke and Al met by chance in 2019 volunteering at the UT Dallas Organization Fair over the summer. Luke wanted to say hi but Al wanted to recruit him into her volunteer organization. It took a cancelled fictional game night and the help of a mutual friend to set up a fake hangout (a thinly veiled date) for them to become best friends forever. Now they have two cats and are ready to see the world together.
