What about COVID?

We are obviously keeping an eye on this and the ever-changing guidelines to make this a safe and fun event! With this in mind we have decided to mandate vaccines so that everyone in attendance can have some peace of mind. Alex and I have both been on the frontline of this most recent surge and are fortunate to be able to receive our third dose of the vaccine this month. If you have any questions about the vaccine or COVID in general please feel free to reach out!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at "The Barn" is available and primarily should be used for local guests and those with special needs. For Guests staying at Smugglers' Notch Resort, bus transportation to and from the wedding will be provided and the preferred means of transportation to the venue. There will be several trips returning to the resort throughout the evening. We want everyone to have a good time so please ride if you plan to imbibe!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive 30 min prior to the start of the ceremony. If you are coming through "The Notch" (VT 108 from Stowe side) make sure to leave plenty of time for peak foliage traffic (i.e. add an additional hour or more to your calculated time). Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire - October in VT can be unpredictable so bring a warm jacket! Also, this is an outdoor venue so ditch the stilettos and head to the meadows!

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but take this as a night off to have fun with friends and family and leave the kids at home!
