How do I find the Pavilion at Ashley River Park?

Answer

Ashley River Park is located at 200 Renken Rd, Summerville, SC 29485, situated right along the Ashley River near the intersection of Bacon's Bridge Road (SC-165) and Renken Road. The event pavilion itself is located within the main loop of the park's developed area, positioned close to the large event lawn, splash pad, and playground facilities for convenient access. Upon arrival at the gate at Ashley River Park, tell the gate attendant you are attending the Alexander-Shaw Wedding at the Pavilion. Entry fee will be waived. Follow the "Wedding This Way" signs to the parking lot next to the main pavilion.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes. There is free parking at the ceremony/reception location.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. You will need to drive to the location or use Uber/Lyft services.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is dressy casual. Suit and tie are optional. Please no jeans or baseball hats. Temperatures in early October tend to run 75-80 degrees in the daytime and 55-65 degrees in the evening. The ceremony will be outdoors on a lawn. The reception will be under an open-air, covered pavilion.
