Question

Part 1: We are SO pumped

Answer

First things first: we're counting down the days until everyone we love is together. This is, hands down, what we're most excited about. Are we getting married? Yes! Can we wait to laugh and dance with our favorite people? No!

Question

Part 2: Why We Clicked

Answer

Allison likes (1) the sound of Emma’s voice and (2) her knack for observational comedy. Emma likes (1) that she never knows what Allison is going to say next and (2) the idea of marrying her best friend.

Question

Part 3: How We Met

Answer

Bumble. A dating app where the girl messages first. Question: Who messaged first? Answer: Emma messaged first. It is unclear whether Allison could have messaged first, or if Bumble randomly decides which girl can message first. Question. Then what happened? Answer: We got drinks at Horsefeather in Nopa. We. Were. Vibing. Al thought it was really cool that Emma went with her to meet some friends after their first date. Al thought, “she’s bold, she’s spontaneous”. Em thought, “I’m not ready to say goodbye”. Fast forward, Emma and Al were quaran-tines during COVID and invented a game called Tiny Tennis, which they eventually discovered was already called Pickle Ball.

Question

Part 4: What Happened Next

Answer

Emma and Al moved into a tiny apartment together with an even tinier little dog (just kidding, Lola weighs 50 lbs). In the Scottish Highlands, Al proposed to Emma with a Highland cow as their witness. Al then surprised Emma with a romantic Celtic Hand-Fasting Ceremony to solidify their love and met her family on a trip across the UK. The Celtic vows started with: "You cannot possess me, for I belong to myself, But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give" & escalated to: “You are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone, I give you my Body, that we Two might be One. I give you my Spirit, 'til our Life shall be Done. You are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone” Fast forward to the present. We love you!
