Our first date was at Tangle wood country club golf course. Allen drove all the way from Raleigh to pick me up from my sister Ali's boyfriend’s house where I had been living at the time. I remember telling Andrew that Allen didn’t seem like a weirdo and asking him what course in Winston to play at . I had also sent my sisters a photo of Allen and his family, Ali said they seemed like a normal looking family lol Me and Allen matched on the dating app Hinge when I was on family vacation in Florida. I finally decided to message him after waiting a few days. He liked my summer interest of going to a Braves game. (During our texting he said he would love to take me to a game and shortly after we made a trip in July ! Chomper ! Anyway back to our golf trip…Allen planned everything for our date and brought me flowers when he picked me up. We were both definitely nervous but excited to finally meet. Andrew was the first person to meet Allen it was almost like him meeting my dad in a way he came out of the house shook hands asked some questions talked about the course and told me to have a good time. I was off with multiple bags and my pink golf hat. We ate lunch at first watch in Clemmons (I made sure not to get something too messy IFYK) lunch went great between him and I. I was looking forward to going to Tangle wood ! Needless to say the golf date went great ! Since that day we have talked everyday, bought a town home together, golfed (I’m still working on my putting skills) traveled, became best friends and much more and welcomed our sweet son AJ on September 3rd 2025 ! we have grown together and became better partners because of our son ! We can't wait to officially be married and have AJ right by are side !
