Unfortunately we’re in a historic boat shed with no elevator to the second floor. There will be a stair case to navigate. If you need assistance with the stair case, there will be plenty of strong, good looking men to lend a hand. What is the wedding day timeline? / Quel est le programme de la journée du mariage ?

Following the ceremony at 4.00pm, there will be a group photo outside the venue, which will be followed by a cocktail hour while the bridal party scoot off for some photos in the area. A full sit-down meal will follow, with the typical speeches and/or games in between courses. There will be cake and dancing. We will look to finish up by midnight, and those that are keen to continue the party can head into the city afterwards. This is a wedding, so you’re expected to look sharp and snazzy. Please, no jandals (flip flops for the foreigners), gumboots or Brooks sneakers. C’est un mariage, donc venez élégant(e) et chic. Merci d’éviter les tongs, les bottes en caoutchouc ou les chaussures de sport.

Fully indoors, as you can’t beat Wellington on a good day even on a bad day too! Entièrement en intérieur, car Wellington est tiptop par beau temps… et même par mauvais temps !

There will be canapés during the cocktail hour, followed by a set menu with several options. Please indicate any food allergies or preferences in your RSVP. We ask that you refrain during the ceremony, but during the reception, go for it. Some of the best pinot noirs in the world (yes, you heard me Frenchies), are made less than an hour's drive away. It really depends on how long you have in New Zealand. If you only have two weeks or less, I would focus on the South Island (particularly Queenstown, Wanaka, and Milford Sound), and then finish in Wellington. If you have more than two weeks, you can cover highlights from the North and South Islands, or perhaps road trip around one of the islands. It depends where you're coming in from. If you're coming from North America, most airlines will fly you to Auckland (direct from the West Coast - Vancouver, San Francisco, or Los Angeles; Texas - Houston or Dallas; or New York City). If you're coming from Europe, you will likely fly via the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or Qatar), and onto Australia (Melbourne or Sydney); from there you have your choice of New Zealand airports to fly into, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Queenstown. You may be even able to fly direct to Singapore (avoiding the Middle East and Australia), and then onto Auckland or Christchurch from there. Cela dépend de votre point de départ. The correct side (being the left-hand side of the road). If planning to drive, which is the best way to see New Zealand, be aware that there are many single lane highways with no median barriers, so please drive with caution. Du côté gauche de la route.
