Things To Do

Island of Oahu

HI

Things to see -Lanikai is my favorite beach. It's absolutely beautiful. -Waikiki is pretty but it has the city feel. Not my favorite but you should go check it out. (Bars, restaurants and shops). -Diamond Head hike is fun. Beautiful view from the top. -Pearl Harbor. -Waimanalo Beach. -North shore if you want to see the waves and surfers. -Kailua Beach park. -Natural swimming holes Makapu’u tide pools (unbelievable). -Jump off rocks at Waimea Bay (Another one of my faves). -Waterfall tours. -Nu'uanu Pali Lookout.

This was not my favorite but 3 days should be okay. -Ho'okipa Beach Park, Paia: Great for watching surfing. -Baldwin Beach/Baby Beach, Paia: Baldwin Beach is on the far right side, and Baby Beach is on the far left. Baldwin is a nice beach to chill on and maybe take a dip. -Sugar Beach, Kihei: Probably the longest stretch of beach on Maui. -Kapalua Bay Beach, Kapalua/Lahaina: Great beach for snorkeling and relaxing. -Ka’anapali Beach, Ka’anapali/Lahaina: Another beach great for snorkeling. -Big Beach, Wailea/Makena: Great beach for chilling and wave jumping. -Maluaka Beach, Wailea/Makena: Nice beach for relaxing and playing in the water -Wai’anapanapa Beach/Black Sand Beach, Hana: road to Hana. Check out the lava tube on the right side. -Red Sand Beach, Hana: There’s a small hike down to this beach, but it has beautiful red sand and a small lagoon to take a dip in.

Activities/Sightseeing: -Helicopter Tour, Kahului. -Surf Lessons, Kihei/Lahaina. -Sunrise/Sunset at the top of Haleakala: You have to make a reservation online if you want to go up for sunrise between 3 – 7am. It’s only $1.50. No reservation required for sunset. I prefer sunset, so I don’t have to wake up early, and I can see the stars after the sun goes down. Wear warm clothes for the top of Haleakala. Its really cold up there. -Road to Hana: Free Very long and tiny roads.

For all the days along the way
