Flights and Accommodations

The Wedding Website of Alan Reyes and Bea Rodriguez
Below are the different options for flights and accommodations for our wedding weekend. We have provided websites and contact information where applicable, but we know that there are a lot of search engines that may also have cheaper rates. Some of the popular ones we use are Google Flights, Tripadvisor, and Kayak. Agoda is also widely used in the Philippines and often has good deals so if you find good deals for hotels there, book them right away!

Flight

Getting to the Philippines

If coming from overseas, book a flight to either MANILA (MNL - Ninoy Aquino International Airport), CLARK (CRK - Clark International Airport), or CEBU (CEB - Mactan Cebu International Airport). If you are planning on flying to Bohol on the same day, make sure to allot enough time between transfers and double check what terminal the flights are in. It can take some time between terminals as they may not be physically connected/adjacent.

Flight

Getting to Bohol

From Manila, Clark, or Cebu, you will have to take a domestic flight to Panglao, Bohol (TAG - Tagbilaran International Airport). The most common airlines into Panglao are Philippine Airlines, Air Asia, and Cebu Pacific. Another option from CEBU (CEB) is to take the ferry. You can take a taxi to the seaport and board a fast ferry to Tagbilaran. Estimated travel time on the ferry from Cebu to Bohol would be 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Hotel

South Palms Resort

This is where we are staying and also where the reception will be. To book, please e-mail info@southpalmsresort.com and CC weddings@southpalmsresort.com. You will need to provide the couple's name to get the discounted rates for the rooms. Note: This is the only way to get the discounted room rates and we do not have a code if you book through their website. Rooms are always subject to availability so please book early.

Hotel

Bohol Beach Club

This resort is right next to South Palms and shares the same shore.

Hotel

Villa Umi Resort

Central Visayas, Philippines

Villa Umi also shares the same shore as South Palms and Bohol Beach Club. It offers more affordable rooms but is still within walking distance.

Hotel

Bluewater Panglao

Bluewater Panglao is where our welcome dinner will be held. It is a 12 minute drive away from South Palms Resort where the reception will be but offers more affordable rooms for those interested.

Hotel

Dumaluan Beach

Dumaluan Beach Resort is right next to Bohol Beach Club and is still walking distance from South Palms. It provides more affordable room rates but is still in the same shore.

Hotel

Amorita Resort

Panglao, Central Visayas, Philippines
 +63 23183388

Amorita is a nice luxury hotel on a cliff with beach access located along Alona Beach which is the busier shore in Panglao. This is a few minutes away from where the Welcome Dinner or the Reception will be, but the rooms and the resort itself comes highly recommended!

Hotel

Henann Resort Alona Beach, Bohol

Alona Beach Road
Panglao, Central Visayas 6340, Philippines
 +63 38 502 9141

Henann is a massive resort along the busier Alona Beach. It is a few minutes away from the Welcome Dinner and Reception venues. The resort itself has an amazing pool and the rooms are very modern! Henann is a popular resort chain in the Philippines - we have stayed in their other properties in the past and we highly recommend their brand!

Travel Note

Transportation in Bohol

Alona Beach is the more popular beach in Bohol where a lot of hotels, restaurants, and nightlife are located. Please note that South Palms Resort (where the reception is) is not along Alona Beach and some resorts like Bluewater (where the welcome dinner is) are also a few minutes drive away by land so be aware of this when booking accommodations! Panglao does not have Uber or Grab (rideshare apps) - be prepared to use the local mode of transportation to get around - the tricycle (think tuktuk)! We have used them to go around the island and they are pretty cheap. Hotels also usually have their own shuttle services for free or for a fee if not within their schedules. Renting scooters is also pretty popular in the island, if that is something you're interested in. Please note that we plan on providing transportation to and from certain spots on the day of the wedding and details will be sent out closer to the date.

For all the days along the way
