Which airport should I fly in to?

Answer

Asheville is the closest airport but is small and likely to be more expensive. Charlotte and Atlanta are both large airports with plenty of rental vehicle options and should be easy to get to from just about anywhere. Charlotte is about a 3 hour drive from Hot Springs and Atlanta is closer to 4 hours.

Help! I'm not that outdoorsy and Hot Springs seems to be an outdoorsy town. What should I do?

Answer

Hot Springs has lots of hiking, rafting, and fishing options. If that isn't your thing, head into Asheville! There's lots of breweries, the famous Biltmore mansion, shopping, and great food. Something for everyone!

Answer

There are lots of hotel and AirBnB/VRBO options in Hot Springs, but Asheville is about 40 minutes away. Check out our Travel Page for some suggestions. Hot Springs is a small mountain town on a holiday weekend so be sure to book early!
