The state fair will be going on just 30 minutes from our reception site in Lincoln IL! Come check out the Illinois State Fair. There is so much to see! Horse races, Craft tents, Carnival rides, Fried Oreos, Fried Corn and top artists performing in Springfield's outside grandstand arena!

Chicago really isn't too far away from us! It is a two and a half hour drive from Lincoln, IL. Chicago pizza, incredible museums, water taxies, kayaking the canal and Lake Michigan beach days are all possible options when you visit Chicago. One of our favorite sites to see is the Navy Pier, and that is what is shown in the highlight photo! Please let us know if you'd like more Chicago suggestions!

Lincoln IL is about a 2 hour drive from Saint Louis Missouri. One of our highlights of the city is seeing a Cards game! There's also the arch, the zoo, and the Muny!
