WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY? Our ceremony will start at 5:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier. WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE? The ceremony will take place outdoors on grass, in the backyard of the Castro residence. Tented reception to follow. AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES AT THE WEDDING? We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight from the wedding ceremony’s beginning to end. A professional photographer and videographer will capture the ceremony, which will be shared with you upon release. Our desire is for all to be truly present with us during our wedding ceremony, as we share this sacred and special moment together!

WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO AND FROM YOUR WEDDING VENUE? We highly recommend Uber, Lyft, or carpooling to and from the Castro residence. Shuttles will not be provided to and from hotels. // Also per Texas law, a police officer will be on-site monitoring the sobriety of guests when leaving. Thus, we strongly encourage Ubers & Lyfts! IS THERE PARKING? Parking will consist of street parking within the neighborhood of the Castro residence. HAVE YOU RESERVED BLOCKS OF ROOMS AT ONE OR MORE HOTELS? No, but we have hotels we and family recommend. Please visit the ‘Travel’ tab on our website for more info.

DRESS CODE:

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE? Our dress code is Formal Attire (Black Tie Optional). Meaning the dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding // Women: a floor-length gown, or a fancy cocktail dress // Men: a suit with a tie or bow tie. Bolo ties for the bold. A tuxedo is not required but can still be worn! IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD AVOID WEARING? Women: please do not wear white as we want to be respectful of Abby and her special day. We will ask you to leave and change if you are wearing white. WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN EL PASO? The average temperature of El Paso in May can range from the upper 80s during the day, and lower 60s and upper 50s at night (~15°C - 32°C). Rain is not common.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS-ONE? Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding! ARE MY CHILDREN INVITED TO THE WEDDING? Although we dearly love our little family members, our wedding is child-free. We hope you take this opportunity to let your guard down and celebrate with us in style! If you need a trusted babysitter in El Paso, we recommend downloading the Bambino app.

MENU & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS & ALCOHOL:

WHAT IF I HAVE A DIETARY RESTRICTION OR ALLERGY? There will be an opportunity to submit this information when completing the RSVP on our website and selecting your meal option. HOW WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED? Alcohol will be served throughout the evening. Sneaking in alcohol is prohibited. Our expectation is for guests to treat the Castro home as their own. If caught sneaking in alcohol, you will be asked to leave.
