It's a warm July day at an open gymnastics session at LIC high school. Vik's in his natural habitat, looking for more ways to stack humans on top of one another. He asks the new girl if she wants to fly, she says "sure." Unbeknownst to him, it's far from her first rodeo, but she wasn't going to let him know that. "Where's the fun in that?!" Alana loves to exclaim. Neither knew this was the start to their adventure. Not long after, Alana managed to give people back home enough reason that she had joined the circus with the multiple flying trapeze tricks she shared, while Vik made it out west to the sunny beaches of the California coast for the first time. The next few years were filled with building snow Newfies, broadway shows including Anastasia and Paramour, cross-borough bike rides, extravegant Christmas light admiration, axe throwing, and foam pit fun. New York couldn't have been a more electric city, but there's always room for more adventure... and more family! We welcomed a cuddly new kitten, Tessa, shortly before we set out West for the next phase. A factory full of CNC machines and a classroom full of pre-schoolers awaited us. Friendsgiving dinners, game nights, and family get togethers were some of our favorite past times. In search of some seasonal variation, thriving nature, and new beginnings, we packed the little CRV with 4 people and a cat to drive coast to coast. After 3630miles, 65hours, 145 gallons of gas with stops at to see the sights, we arrived in Massachusetts! Nowadays we find ourselves shredding (or so we think) down snowy mountains, chasing tennis balls, having game nights with friends, and exploring the historically rich East. Though what is home? We've learned home isn't where the roof is, but where the people are to help create new memories, so we return to one of our home states to share our fun day with as many of our worlds that we cherish. Join us for a night of celebration!
