We're getting married!

Our love story starts back in 2018... We were both working at Pick N' Save, which was our first jobs. Tyler (the shy guy), Alana (the cute chatty girl), and all of our coworkers who could see we'd make an awesome pair. We frequently stocked shelves together (mostly in complete silence because *someone* had a crush). We worked the deli counter together (in less silence because Alana couldn't use the slicers). Our coworkers tried to set us up on blind dates (to which Alana said "absolutely not"). What fun! One fateful day, a coworker spilled the beans on a big crush in the Pick N' Save universe... Tyler likes Alana. After some gentle persuasion from our coworkers, Tyler finally friend requested Alana on Facebook (give us a break, it was 2018!). We chatted on Messenger, like proper adults, before finally switching to snapchatting (like the teens we were). We would message each other constantly. Tyler, ever the gentleman, brought Alana flowers on her 18th birthday. But, plot twist, she was not home and he was greeted by her stepmom Laure instead. Now there is clearly no other choice but to invite him to come to Alana's birthday party on the following Saturday, so that's what happens. Now, Alana is mortified because this isn't just a little birthday party, this is the FAMILY birthday party. I'd like to remind everyone at this point in the story, that we had not spent time together outside of work yet. The birthday party comes and so does Tyler, who had the pleasure of meeting Alana's entire family the first time they ever hung out. (Author's note: he must of really liked me to stick around after that!). We continued to chat and hang out periodically until Halloween 2018. After some more gentle persuasion, Laure convinced Tyler to ask Alana to be his girlfriend (now if you couldn't guess, she said yes). And the rest is history. We have done so many things in the last 7 years. We moved into our first apartment together in 2022, graduated from college in 2023 and 2024, bought a house in January 2024, got engaged in November 2024, and now are getting married in April 2026. We found such a special love and we can't wait to keep it going for the rest of our lives.
